Scaligero Castle - Sirmione
The small historic town is located at the tip of the penisula on the southern coast of Lake Garda. A magical encounter between turquoise waters and a land already praised by poets over two thousand years ago.
Jamaica Beach
At the northernmost tip of the Sirmione peninsula, just below the historic "Grotte di Catullo" ruins, there is a public beach in turquoise, clear water. Sunbeds can (must) be reserved.
To get a good spot, you should leave a little earlier (before 10:30) for Jamaica Beach.
The bar is open from 10:00 to 20:00.
Grotte di Catullo
The remains of a gigantic Roman villa, known for centuries as Grotte di Catullo (Catullus Caves), can be visited. The historic complex was reached over 2,000 years ago and is the most important example of a stately residence in all of northern Italy. The unique location, at the far end of the Sirmione peninsula in the midst of vast olive groves can be visited.
